Koji Kakinuma: Traveling Alone

Move­ment and speed are the key to all artis­tic tech­niques of Japan­ese artist Koji Kak­inu­ma. In his work, he com­bines cal­lig­ra­phy, free artis­tic expres­sion, and per­for­mance in a unique way. The exhi­bi­tion of Koji Kak­inu­ma in Liberec is a rare expe­ri­ence, as this is the artist’s very first exhi­bi­tion in Europe. On dis­play are 14 of his icon­ic works from both past and present, includ­ing large-scale paint­ings, some reach­ing up to 10 meters in width. The exhi­bi­tion will be intro­duced in a guid­ed tour by its cura­tor, Fil­ip Suchomel.
