R086 – Slow is precise, precise is fast - Puppets at the Department of Alternative and Puppet Theatre, DAMU 2010–2025

How is puppet-making taught at a uni­ver­si­ty lev­el? The exhi­bi­tion attempts to answer this ques­tion by reflect­ing on the last 15 years of work at the Scenog­ra­phy Cab­i­net of KALD DAMU, dur­ing which approx­i­mate­ly six­ty stu­dents have stud­ied there. How do they remem­ber work­ing in work­shop R086? What did they take away from it (besides var­i­ous work-related injuries)? Did they con­tin­ue work­ing with pup­pets after grad­u­a­tion, and if not, what are they doing now?

The exhi­bi­tion takes place as part of the Mateřin­ka Fes­ti­val, in col­lab­o­ra­tion with DAMU and the Naivní Divad­lo in Liberec.
