Václav Řezáč, Urania - (…where light is just another kind of shadow…)

The exhi­bi­tion Uránie grows out of a fas­ci­na­tion with ura­ni­um glass—a mate­r­i­al that is both trans­par­ent and unset­tling­ly glow­ing. A col­or that is not quite a col­or. Light that is not quite light. In dim­ness, it reacts to UV radi­a­tion, as if reveal­ing what is meant to remain hidden—a secret lan­guage of mat­ter that glows even when every­thing around it is silent.
